Empowering patients, Engaging doctors.
We touch so many lives with every project we do, but not many make us feel so noble in our work. Having been associated with Pharmasecure for long, this project of giving power to take control of one’s health in their hands became close to our heart. Helping elderly, people suffering from chronic and long-term illness where they can get reminded to take their medicines, verify its genuineness, among other features. We made sure the patient should not feel like one while using the app, making it light hearted, bright and aesthetically pleasing. So simple to get onboarded for a technology-novice.

Challenge
PharmaSecure works with patients managing chronic and long-term illness, many of them elderly or new to smartphones altogether. The core challenge wasn’t just building a medicine reminder and verification app it was designing a healthcare platform that didn’t feel clinical or intimidating to technology-novice users, while still handling medicine verification and adherence reminders with the reliability patient health depends on.
Solution
Kormoan designed PharmaSecure’s mobile app around patient UX rather than a pure feature checklist: a light, approachable visual tone, simplified onboarding, and clear, low-friction reminder flows for medicine intake and genuineness verification. Every interaction was tested against the assumption that the user might be opening a smartphone app for the first time, not operating like a power user. The result is a healthcare and life sciences product that patients actually keep using.
