Designing for Bharat, at scale.

Task

Reverie was a landmark project — not just for because the life it can touch, but for its cultural significance. With multiple stakeholders, legacy systems, and deeply rooted workflows, our goal was to modernize the experience while preserving the essence of Reverie’s mission: making technology accessible in every Indian language. We approached the design with an India-first mindset — drawing inspiration from local aesthetics, incorporating regional motifs, and choosing a palette that resonates with the diversity of Bharat. Every interaction, every element was crafted to feel familiar yet progressive, honoring tradition while enabling transformation.

From Complexity to Clarity

Bringing together diverse stakeholders from Reverie — each with their own goals, workflows, and legacy systems — was no small feat. But it was essential.

We orchestrated an intensive design workshop, bringing everyone into one space to align on vision, identify gaps, and co-create solutions. With our crack team facilitating, the room quickly turned into a hub of insight, debate, and breakthrough moments.

The outcome? A unified understanding of user needs, product intent, and business priorities — captured in a blueprint that laid the foundation for the entire website redesign. What began as a challenge became a turning point — the clarity we needed to design with purpose and impact.

Design that Connects, Informs, and Performs

We crafted a design system that combines India’s vibrant visual language with clean, modern UI components. By integrating traditional colour palettes, cultural motifs, and India-centric imagery, we created a visual identity that feels authentic and accessible to a diverse audience.

Strategic use of real-time metrics — like engagement growth, conversion rates, and CSAT improvement — was not just visual; it demonstrated measurable business value. These data points, paired with modular components, interactive visuals, and micro-interactions, helped communicate Reverie’s real-time AI capabilities clearly and confidently.

The result is a user experience that not only feels culturally relevant but also showcases performance and purpose — bringing trust, clarity, and delight to every interaction.

Challenge

Reverie’s mission is making technology accessible in every Indian language, but its own digital presence hadn’t kept pace. With multiple internal stakeholders, legacy systems, and deeply rooted workflows, the existing website struggled to communicate Reverie’s real-time AI capability to a mass-market, multi-region audience spanning India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities a segment where vernacular UX and low-bandwidth performance matter as much as visual design.

Solution

Kormoan ran a structured product discovery workshop to align Reverie’s stakeholders around one product vision before any design work began. From there, we built a design system rooted in India-first visual language — regional motifs, a culturally resonant palette, and vernacular UX patterns layered onto a modern, componentized UI. Real-time metrics like engagement growth, conversion, and CSAT were surfaced directly in the interface as functioning proof points of Reverie’s AI, not just marketing claims.
